I finally get to detail the move.
So here are how things went since we last talked...
Wednesday, May 21st 2003: Packed, packed and more packed. All of our stuff started getting loaded on the truck and the computer got packed. We didn't finish on Wednesday so...
Thursday, May 22nd 2003: We finished loading the truck all up in the morning and we outta there by noon. At first it was okay, but then some stuff started happening with the cat. About 2 hours in she seemed to have some sort of a panic attack and started panting. 2 and a half hours in she suddenly jumped up, ran towards the back of the van, and promptly threw up. 3 hours in she started hacking again, she sat up in her seat and gagged, and gagged, and then she suddenly fell onto her side and started shaking like she was having a seizure then threw up. At this point we pulled over into the next rest area (in Pennsylvania) and called her vet. We got the cat all situated and hit the road again. She did real good the rest of the day and we stopped that night in West Virginia.
Friday, May 23rd 2003: We got up early, had some nice toast for breakfast, got kitty in her carrier and hit the road. We drove and drove until around 3pm when we finally reached Wilmington. There I went and got in the truck with my cousin's husband and she got in our van. We split up and while my mom and dad went with the cat and my cousin to the real estate office to get the keys, I directed Bob to our new house (by memory.) We unloaded a bunch of stuff that night and had Subway for dinner.
Saturday, May 24th 2003: The rest of the truck was unloaded, I became a little ill and ended up sleeping for the majority of the afternoon. That night we had Golden Corral for dinner.
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, May 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2003: A whole lot of nothing. We ate, we slept, we went and got groceries we unpacked a lot of stuff.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, May 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2003: Bob and Dad went back to New York really early Wednesday morning so it was just Me, Mom and Tammy for these three days until they return tonight. We did a whole lot of nothing. The cable people came Thursday and hooked us up with cable so soap operas were watching. On Wednesday night we went for a little walk and saw a race car in a garage. (Like a real Winston Cup one.)
That's all folks.
